June 21 - 24 2008 solo backpacking trip to Henry's Fork in the amazing Uinta Mountains in northeastern Utah.

Thanks! Yeah, the Uintas can look a little drab in late summer but at sunset they always come alive. Problem was, all that snow meant the wettest conditions I have experienced.

The best fotos of the Henry's basin I've seen! I was there last August with scouts. Got 12 out of 14 on King's. Took them down the "chute" on the way back. Later at camp, I was accused of attempted murder. It may have been steep and scary to them, but I'm sure they'll never forget it.
