We really enjoyed the scramble along the top of the ridge, but i will second gimpilator's thoughts on the talus below to the north.

Kendall and Alaska
Bryan and I had another two for one day starting with nearby Kendall Peak. Following the east ridge of Alaska turned out to be more of a scramble than I anticipated. Once we got ther we found a great summit surrounded by larger peaks. It seemed like the small talus slopes on the north face below the summit might be an easier approach than staying on the ridge top.
