After the Fire
My original plan was to hike up to Dawson Pass and then summit Flinsch Peak or, if time was a problem, Mount Helen. But when we arrived, fires had closed all of the trails on the east side of Two Medicine. So my only view of Flinsch came from Two Medicine Lake after a hard rain and cool front that briefly blew away the fire smoke for a couple of days.
