Is that for consumption?

I think I even had a small child in mine

Relived it again!

Wow, what an awesome trip report, I relived the frustration on snow and scree around Pt 9761, the fun pitches on Perch, and yes the mad run down to the boat dock (I won't do that run again with a heavy pack). Hopefully we can go back for more. Thank you!!

Re: Saaaweet!

Thanks a lot Martin!! It was a pretty cool weekend. I really enjoyed your Olympic pictures from the same weekend - sometime I need to check that mountain out!

Wonderful TR

Thanks for posting the write up and photos. Sitting here in the office full of customer orders and reading your account sure makes one want to load the truck, lock the door and go climbing. Loved it.
Alois.

Re: Wonderful TR

Thanks so much Alois! I know the feeling of sitting in the office and dreaming about climbing :) At least you are closer to the mountains!

Nice!

Looks like a lot of fun. Cool to get a glimpse of what Idaho climbing is like. Thanks for posting.

Re: Nice!

Thanks a lot! It was cool for us to sample Idaho climbing, too.

FYI

The Mountaineer's Rt is not one of the "50 classics," at least not the ones Steck and Roper popularized (see intro paragraph). This route is sometimes confused as such due to the naclassics website.

Re: FYI

Thanks for the info - didn't realize that this was one of the routes that differ.

Good pics and TR!

Good TR! I'm moving to the Portland area so we maybe we can hook up for a climb. On my move I plan on stopping in ID area and bag a peak.

Re: Good pics and TR!

Thanks!! Too bad you're leaving all that nice Colorado rock behind :) You'll have to come to the next Portland SP gathering ...
