Nice shot.

When was this taken. I notice there are no people along the route. But I can see a trail in the snow. Must have been a quiet day on the summit. Good shot. Cheers William

Thanks a lot. The foto was taken in February 2006. Actually, it wasn anything but quiet on the summit. There was a period of atrocious weather before we left Plaza Argentina dumping a lot of snow on Aconcagua. I guess people were lying in waiting for a break in the weather and were poised to summit all at once. I guess the snow made an otherwise dry mountain look rather spectular at that time of the year.
