Re: You guys are Dogs!!!!!!

I'm in on that one! Dean was mentioning this saturday, but I won't be able to make it until the 26th. If you guys go, let me now how it goes. The summer schedule is getting a little crazy for me. But, I would really like to hange with with some of the local yocals on some peak, somewhere!

Fun Day!

Great trip report, Dean. This was a very fun hike and I always enjoy your company. Red Butte next? :-)

Nice Job, Dean

My husband (photo61guy) and I can see these peaks from our house in North Ogden. We couldn't find any maps or guides for these peaks so we took a drive out and looked to find evidence of any trailhead. All we saw were the signs you mentioned. Seems we don't have the connections that you guys do but we will live vicariously through your reports and photos! Nice report - good to see that it is possible ... Durst - is that the one SE of Huntsville?

Re: Nice Job, Dean

Thank you, and yes, Durst is the one SE of Huntsville. Part of it is US Forest service but it is surrounded by gated private property. We will try and find a way in (legally) and eventually get to the top of Durst.
