Long to go back

when I see those beautiful meadows. Nice TR with one error. The mountain is called Stevia, not Stelvia. I wasn't sure so I looked it up ;-)

Thanks Gangolf, fixed it. Too often I am too lazy to go down to the car and get the map to make sure the names are right. Because then I'd have to clean the whole car, and man I love putting that off! :D

I'm starting to see why...

this place is so amazing! Fantastic photos contrasting the grey, green and blue. Tracking down your 'first big climbing experience' could have been easier though... ;)

Exactly, the Dolomites are so enticing! As for me, I think the formative experiences were the West Ridge of Stuart (1999), the North Peak of Index (2001), the North Ridge of Sassolungo (2002). That last one was the first "big" climb in the Dolomites, what an awesome day that was!
