A Dramatic View of Sundial Peak and Lake Blanche.... Just another day at church

A black and white picture of 2009's first snow on Sundial Peak and Lake Blanche. Yes this is one of the most popular views of this peak but the clouds, cold temps and the 1st snows of winter only seemed to enhance the beauty of the place that afternoon. To us it was just another day well spent in the Church of the Wasatch. October 09

Better than church

Was this picture taken along the route to the top of Twin Peaks above Cottonwood Canyon? I recall seeing it in 1954 when I climbed the most dominant summit seen from downtown Salt Lake. This must be the "Matterhorn of the Wasatch."

Not quite....If you were heading to the Twin Peaks you would have to climb up 1 fork down (Broads Fork) from Mill B South. Thanks for the comment and the vote.
