5/24/14 - Saturday

• Started Hiking around 7:30 am
  
• Rain on and off throughout the day
• Stopped for lunch at a shelter
• Got to the next shelter around 9:00 pm
• Hiked a total of ~15 miles

5/25/14 - Sunday

• Slept in a bit, started hiking around 9:00 am
• Beautiful day, few clouds, no rain
  
• Navigated "the hardest mile of the AT" which we found to be quite pleasurable
• Made it to our shelter around 7:00 pm
• The shelter is set by Speck Pond in the shadow of Mt Speck
  
• Hiked a total of ~10 miles

5/26/14 - Monday

• Woke up around 5:00 am to get an early start
• Made our way up a windy and rain covered rock face to summit Mt Speck
• Reached the parking lot at 9:30 am and awaited our ride
• Total trip: 33 miles
