"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

A worthy hikeBeen up here 3 times. Worth the hike even without any summits. I've been lucky enough to witness some big calving events!

En-Route to/from WaltonRon and I passed over this saddle en-route across Harrison Glacier to a successful climb of Walton Mountain. On our return across Harrison Glacier our trekking poles, firmly lashed to our packs while were were using ice axes, were buzzing in a thunderstorm. It cleared briefly while we ascended to the saddle but retuned with a vengeance pinning us down for the night. Lightning nailed nearby summits, rock pummeled down and wind and rain made for an interesting night huddled near a cliff.

Attempt on WaltonHiked to saddle at 7853 and downclimbed to below Harrison Glacier before giving up on a day hike to Walton due to tremendous crevasses at foot of glacier and lack of gear

Must Have Been HeavenI never planned to be up there, but my brother and I got separated (my fault), and I had to look for him. My searching took me up to the Divide. I found my brother (later), and I found indescribable beauty, too.
