Great tripNovember of 2014. Rucu Pichincha, Antisana, Cotopaxi. Missed both big ones a bit short of the summit, so I look forward to coming back for another chance. Nice people, good potato soup, impressive volcanos..

One of the world's highest active volcanoes.I love this range, mostly cause one of the world's highest active volcanoes is in it, Cotopaxi (5,897 m / 19,347 ft) which I climb it very often.
The weather here is very variable due to the humidity that comes from the Amazon rain forest, not too far from here.
