"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Odakota After the Thanksgiving Week Blizzard.Central City got 30", Odakota probably 14-18", as snow was thigh deep up at 7000 ft. The dogs had a little trouble navigating in the deep stuff. Snowshoes would have helped, but wouldn't have done any good for the pups. Bobcat Rd. was two-track going up, but luckily, the road grader-plow was ahead of me on the way down. Tried to hit Bear Mountain afterwards, but Ditch Creek Rd was two-track and severely drifted over, so no-go on that one.

Fun route findingThis is the first peak I intentionally climbed in my quest to ascend all the 7,000 foot peaks in the Black Hills.

From FS 693We visited this summit after Bear Mountain and before Medicine Mountain. An easy jaunt for an unfortunately underwhelming summit.
