Lost Arrow Spire

Lost Arrow Spire

This beautiful 1400 foot spire is not easily noticed by most visitors to Yosemite. However, during early morning and late afternoon hours it casts a giant shadow on the Upper Yosemite Falls' East wall. This photo was taken during the morning hours.

A dandy

One of the best shots I've ever seen of the Lost Arrow Spire. Beautiful rock texture in this one.

Re: A dandy

Thank you Dean. I knew to get that shadow I had to get out of the sleeping bag early. And it all worked out, and I got my shot.
Then, I saw a mama bear and her cub running away from me. Thank God for that.
Thanks for the support and encouragement Dean.
Happy climbing,
Marc

Re: A dandy

Thank you so much Radek.
The crisp early morning air, and clear skies didn't hurt either.
Thanks for dropping by Radek.
Happy climbing,
Marc
