"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

My Second HomeI come here every year and love every moment I spend at this place. My next trip will be the 7th annual trip and I am hoping to complete the Rae Lakes Loop. The natural beauty here is amazing!!!

A Burger, Melbatoast?A burger, Melbatoast? My memory book says I ate prime rib and my son, Curtis, ate Trout Almondine at the Cedar Grove restaurant! Cedar Grove was the kick-off for bouldering on some of the back roads (recommended by a ranger), and hikes to Roaring River Falls and Mist Falls. Great place; I'd love to go back someday. --mark d.

Restaurant Hours SuckIt was lovely and deserted in late September but the little grill was closed. Damn, I really wanted a burger after that backpack, too!

Been here many timesI worked in SEKI for three seasons and visited the canyon and hiked many of its trails often. Most recently went back for a day trip. October is a beautiful time to visit!
